This year welcomes the debut of Stand Gatherings!
In previous years STAND was an annual conference; however, this year we will switch to a new focus and launch STAND Gatherings. These gatherings will last five days and will be hosted in the spring and fall, each with a different focus. Our aim is for the fall gathering to focus on the Gospel and Justice, whereas the spring gathering will focus on Prophetic Worship. These gatherings are designed for 100 attendees. We want to create an environment conducive for worship, equipping, focused discussion, and fellowship as we share meals together. Our goal is to have a living-room format as our teaching context to allow for more personal interaction with Stuart Greaves and the teaching team.
We want to invite you to our first Fall Stand Gathering, October 9–13, 2018. We will spend five days seeking the Lord in the Scripture, praying and discussing with other believers the subject of justice and what the gospel has to say about it. There are many emerging perspectives regarding justice; however, a more robust and holistic perspective concerning racial justice and justice for the poor and oppressed is needed. We will address questions like: “What is biblical justice?” and “What is the role of the Church?” This gathering is for all who have vision to co-labor with those who are contending for Jesus’ justice in our day. The registration cost for this gathering will be $75 per person and will include teaching materials as well as lunch for each day. We look forward to seeing you in October!
