So you may have seen this hashtag on some of my social media networks. I adopted it from the IHOPU student outreach missions trips as it perfectly describes what 2014 has looked like for me and what is in my heart. Even as I type this I am in Southeast Asia (Singapore) teaching, training and leading in worship. In the grace of God I have been privileged to do this in 6 nations this year: America, Canada, Korea, Germany, England and Singapore. I am more stirred than I have ever been as I am sitting in a small prayer room right now here in Singapore joined by groups from the Philippines, Malaysia, USA, and being lead in worship by a team from Korea! WOW! The nations have gathered here to worship and partner with Jesus in intercession. What a sobering honor to be living in an Isaiah 24 moment!
They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing; For the majesty of the Lord. They shall cry aloud from the sea.15 Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea. 16 From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: “Glory to the righteous!” (Isaiah 24:14-16)
This verse is speaks of the day of the Lord upon the return of Jesus. But OH to have a glimpse of it now! Never has there been a generation like the one we are living in. Historians and the worlds largest missions organizations say that within the next 10 years the gospel of the Kingdom will have been preached, and the bible translated into every language and tongue in the earth. THATS HUGE!
“The gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached as a testimony to all the nations, THEN THE END WILL COME!” (Matt 24;14)
It is abundantly clear to me that the Lord is zealous about his gospel going forth and the nations are learning to hear is voice and sing his song! What a beautiful and terrifying reality! To this end I am committing, I WONT STOP #Untileverynationsings!
